It Doesn't Make Sense

In our text this week we see a back-and-forth dialogue between our author and God. This conversation starts with some complaining and response to those complaints. Then the conversation goes to a sense of confusion or even disbelief, and again we see a solid response to those complaints. While you are reading you might have a moment where you think, "it just doesn't make sense." I can remember as a kid thinking how much something didn't make sense, and when the picture was made clearer suddenly it was okay. Here the people of Judah are being taken by the culture around them and not living how God told them to live, so as consequences emerge confusion sets in. I look forward to starting with the end of our text this week and working our way back.
