The Poland trip has been a part of O'Fallon UMC since 2005 when it began as a Language Camp with our sister church in Kielce, Poland. It has since grown into a Bible Camp, serving 60+ children, teens and their families. The theme Indian Village was then chosen for the camp because of the history, respect and connection that the people of Poland have with the Indigenous people of Canada. It is a trip about cultural exchange and building relationships of faith with Christians from another country. 100% of the money raised for this trip goes to fund the camp that is organized through the Methodist church of Kielce, Poland.
Lessie Bates Davis Neighborhood House is a multi-purpose, faith based community center in relationship with the United Methodist Church. Their mission is to empower individuals and families to move out of poverty and achieve self-sufficiency.
