There is much work to do in the world, and you can help impact lives and communities. We partner with several international organizations to bring hope to the world.
Midwest Mission has been showing God’s Love in practical ways through the distribution of education, health, micro-business, and disaster relief supplies meeting basic human needs around the world and around the corner. At O'Fallon first we have been involved by packing meals, contributing supplies, and traveling to the center to provide assistance. Learn more about this ministry by visiting their website HERE.
The United Methodist Committee on Relief is one of the top disaster relief agencies in the world. A portion of your offering to a Methodist church on Sunday morning goes to help the administrative costs of UMCOR so that 100% of your additional donation to UMCOR goes to help people in need. Learn more HERE.
Mission Guatemala exists to help meet the basic needs and improve the quality of life of under-served Guatemalan people through health, education, and nutrition initiatives and meaningful missionary service. O'Fallon First has sent a team and hopes to go back in the summer of 2022. To learn more visit their website HERE.
The Poland trip has been a part of O'Fallon UMC since 2005 when it began as a Language Camp with our sister church in Kielce, Poland. It has since grown into a Bible Camp, serving 60+ children, teens and their families. The theme Indian Village was then chosen for the camp because of the history, respect and connection that the people of Poland have with the Indigenous people of Canada. It is a trip about cultural exchange and building relationships of faith with Christians from another country. 100% of the money raised for this trip goes to fund the camp that is organized through the Methodist church of Kielce, Poland.
