Eating Soggy Cheerios
Consider this: you’re sitting in the restaurant with someone special to you (spouse, friend, family) and you’re enjoying a really good meal. You really like what you’ve ordered and your significant other didn’t order it. What do you do? Do you offer them a bite, or do you keep it to yourself? I’ve had a meal with both kinds of people: “You gotta try this,” and “don’t even think about it!” I’ve reacted both ways—“have some,” and “no way”—just ask Becky (my significant other). Of course, if it’s the later, I always give in… I’m no dummy.
This Sunday is the first of a new four-week series: Generosity In Motion, and we’ll be looking at how we are created to be generous, in the image of a generous God! I hope you’ll join me. You gotta try this!
