That Doesn't Fig-ure

Why would you plant a fig tree in a vineyard? The question seems even more significant when most horticulturalists say a fig tree has a deep root system that would rob the soil around it of water and nutrients. Something is going on here. Jesus is saying something more than simply offering gardening advice. I think I began to understand what Christ intended when I sat in the beautifully, ornate, and awe-inspiring cathedrals across Spain. The question came to my mind, "what are we worshipping?"
