Serve At O'Fallon First

One of the most important ways to connect is to serve in the church. We have many opportunities where you can serve and make a difference. Descriptions for the different ministries are below. If you aren’t sure which team is a good fit for you, contact Pastor Brad at revbradlewis@gmail.com

The Hospitality Team is made up of people like you who have a heart to serve like Jesus did. You make guests feel known, noticed and loved. It all starts with a simple “Hello!” and a smile. The team takes care of everything from opening the doors for guests to helping them find seats, answering phones during the week, and even creating that perfect cup of coffee. Friendly voices are also needed to chat and pray with people in our online community.
There are so many ways to serve in the Worship experience. Join the tech crew and operate cameras, song lyrics, lighting or sound equipment. Be a liturgist and read the prayers and scripture during the service.  Create a joyful noise to God by singing or playing an instrument during hymns and praise songs. Share the Lord's supper by setting up communion or helping to serve communion.
Be the adult you needed when you were growing up. Join us in shaping the next generation of believers by engaging with our Student and Family ministries. Laugh, play games, eat pizza and share God’s love through a variety of activities – including helping new families find their way as they bring their kids for the first time.
Be that extra support for someone in need. Consider serving with a Care Team. Here are some ways you can help: praying for our church family and guests, being a part of our Prayer Force, reaching out to our church family, making hospital visits, assisting with funerals, and preparing meals to take to families in need. This is perfect for anyone that loves to share their heart with others.
